Does running make you happy? "Yes!", most regular runners will immediately respond. But why is that so and how can running even change your life and your outlook on life? We asked the Medical Director of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Dr. med. Matthias Krüll, a marathon runner, as well as various colleagues from the SCC EVENTS team. The mix of medical and very personal and emotional answers will surely convince even every non-runner!

The right nutrition is not only crucial for ambitious athletes for a good marathon and their training. For beginning runners too, the question "Better nutrition = Better running?" is becoming more and more important. In our vlog we try to get to the bottom of this question with our nutrition experts from the SCC EVENTS team - Jochen Schmitz, Jakob Wartchow - a young SCC EVENTS colleague, and Johannes Motschmann – an athlete on the SCC EVENTS PRO TEAM.
This much is certain: diet is similar to the perfect running shoe – there is not one perfect fit for everyone!

In the last weeks before the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON the excitement and anticipation is rising for all athletes - no matter if you are an experienced marathoner or a rookie! In our Vlog, top athlete Anna Hahner gives tips on how she enjoys the final preparation and tries to turn nervousness into positive energy. She also has a few tips for warming up right before the race.
Our sports psychologist Anett Szigeti clearly emphasises the role of family and friends - even those who are not running should be fully involved!
